1. TOUR PRICE, DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT

  • a) Although Africanfairytale Tours made every effort to assure the authenticity of the tour prices, those rates also are subject to change as a result of variables outside of Africanfairytale Tours' control. In the event of a reasonable change, Africanfairytale Tours will make every attempt to contact customers as soon as possible.
  • b) The clients must pay for any additional services or items the company may occasionally require; the tour price only covers the services and items stated in the itinerary and tour document.
  • c) According to the company's records, prices, charges, and tariffs for particular tour activities are established under local public legislation. As a result, the company does not influence any increase in these charges, or surcharges, even during the trip. In its sole discretion, the company maintains the right to raise the applicable pricing, levies, and tariffs to reflect such changes and variations.
  • d) Non –refundable 25% deposit is required to secure a booking in respect of the tour .This non-refundable deposit shall be set off against the tour price.
  • e) The tour price must be paid 28 days before the departure date for the tour; failure to do so, the company reserves the right to deem the booking as having been cancelled and to lay the cancelled penalties set out in these terms and conditions.
  • f) In the event that the client makes booking within 28 days off the date of departure of the tour, he or she shall, in order to secure the booking be required to pay the full price.

2. CANCELLATIONS

  • a) The client forfeits the non-refundable payment if the reservation is cancelled at any time up to 29 days before the tour's departure date for any reason.
  • b) Where the booking is cancelled less than 29 days prior to the date of departure of the tour for any reason ,the client shall be liable to pay the following penalties to the company .
  • c) Cancellation between 28-15 days prior to the date of departure a cancelled penalty equal to 50% of the tour price.
  • d) Cancellation between 14-7 days prior to the date of departure, a cancellation penalty equal to 75% of the tour price: and • Cancellation less than 7 days prior to the date of departure or” no shows”, cancellation penalty of 100% of the tour price.
  • e) The Company is allowed to use any portion of the client's non-refundable deposit toward any cancellation penalties that must be paid in accordance with the conditions of this agreement.
  • f) Africanfairytale Tours maintains the right to postpone or cancel a tour at any time and for any reason. In such a case, the company must reimburse the customer for the cost of the tour, which clearly includes the non-refundable deposit. In this regard, the firm's obligation to the client is limited to refunding the tour price as stated, and the company will not be held liable for any damages of any kind, regardless of how they occurred.

3. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND OTHER TRAVEL PAPERS

  • a) The customer is solely responsible for making sure that all necessary documents are in order for the countries that will be visited during the tour, including the passport, visa, health records, proof of vaccinations, and any other documentation.
  • b) If the client fails to properly handle the client's documents and other relevant things as planned, the firm shall not be liable for any consequences, damages, or claims.

4. INSURANCE

  • a) a) Travel insurance that covers cancellation and trip interruption is required for the tour. Before beginning the tour, it is the client's obligation to make sure that he or she has the necessary insurance in place (as well as the supporting documentation).
  • b) Should the client be unable to present proof of such insurance to the company ( on request, therefore, by the company), the company may, in its sole discretion, exclude the client from the tour, and the client shall be liable for the cancellation penalty payments set out in these terms and conditions.
  • c) The customer knows that comprehensive medical insurance for travellers must include a provision for air evacuation. The company will not be held responsible for any consequences, damages, or losses resulting from the client's failure to have the required.

5.BAGGAGE

  • a) The company will not be held liable for any loss or damage to the client's belongings or baggage, regardless of how it occurred. The client is responsible for all luggage and other items brought on the tour by them.
  • b) The customer is allowed one bag (a soft pouch or backpack; not a suitcase) that weighs no more than 20 kg and a daypack.
  • c) If the customer needs more baggage than the allotted amount, this must be agreed with the company and paid for with a cost that the firm may charge at its sole discretion. Despite the foregoing, the business retains the right to refuse excess baggage.

6. HEALTH

  • a) The and fitness and that it is the client's responsibility to ensure that they are in good enough health to travel.client acknowledges that participating in the tour involves a certain level of physical health
  • b) When a customer is above 65, the company requires a medical certificate or letter from a physician attesting to the customer's fitness for the tour.

7. AUTHORITY ON TOUR

  • a) The client must at all times comply with the law, custom and foreign exchange regulations of countries visited during the tour.
  • b) The client also understands that disruptive, risky, or potentially risky behaviour during the tour will not be tolerated. In these cases, Africanfairytale Tours personnel, representatives, agents, and contractors reserve the right to exclude the customer from the tour at any time.
  • c) c) The customer will not be entitled to a refund, rebate, or additional compensation if they are excluded as stated above, nor will the firm be responsible for any fees or expenses they incur.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

  • a) Unexpected events, such as conflict, equipment failures, inclement weather, riots, and other unpredictable reasons outside the company's control, may result in tour delays or modifications. The company will not be held responsible in any way for any of these potential events or any repercussions that may follow from them.

9. INDEMNIFICATION AND EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

  • a) a) The client accepts that the tour is of an adventurous nature and involves an element of personal risk
  • b) b) The company and each of its respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents disclaim all responsibility for any loss or damage (including, but not limited to, the client's or any other person's injury or death or any loss of or damage to the client's or any other person's property) which the client or any other person may incur or suffer as a result of or arising from the client's participation in the tour and any other activities under the contract.
